Tornado Rose is based in the Washington DC metro area and regularly performs throughout the region. We've played venues and festivals from Capitol Hill to Loudoun County to the Eastern Shore, and we travel further when the event is right.

Do you play weddings?
Yes — ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. We can read the room, from intimate listening sets to upbeat dance moments.
What kinds of events do you perform at?
Weddings, private parties, corporate events, festivals, house concerts, breweries, wineries, listening rooms, and community gatherings. Indoor or outdoor, intimate or large.
Where do you travel?
Washington DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Baltimore, Annapolis, and the broader Mid-Atlantic — Delaware and Pennsylvania included. We also play festivals further afield (Kansas, Oklahoma) and are open to longer trips for the right event.
Can you adjust the volume and energy for different parts of the event?
Yes. The all-acoustic string-band setup is well suited to cocktail volume up through full-energy dance sets. We're happy to plan the arc of the night with you.
